How do I purchase your products?

-You can call us at (510) 429-1300 to schedule a delivery.

-You can come to any of our 6 locations, select the material and schedule a delivery.

-You can bring your pick up truck or trailer to any of our 6 locations and we will load you with the product you choose.  The customer should have a tarp to cover the load.

What Holidays are you closed on? – Livermore and Newark are closed Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.  Ben Lomond, Watsonville, Salinas and Gonzales are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day

 

How do I know how much mulch I need? – Check out our mulch calculator here.

 

How far will you deliver? – We will deliver to the entire Bay Area, Monterey Bay Area, and Salinas Valley.

 

How much do deliveries cost? – Delivery fees are based on the distance from our site to the drop off location. Depending on the quantity of materials, type of materials and accessibility we can deliver with a small dump truck or a large walking floor semi truck.

Small Truck: $60.00 flat rate plus $2.50/mile

Large Semi Truck: $120.00 flat rate plus $4.00/mile

How do I pick up materials? - Customers with truck or trailers can pick up materials at any of our six stores. Visit our Locations page for maps and directions. Just ask one of the Vision employees wearing a safety vest to load your truck for you. We will do it free of charge! Those who hand load mulch or compost need to provide their own tools such as a shovel and container. All vehicles must have their loads covered.

 

How much do materials cost?  – If you know the material you would like and the quantity please call us for a quote.  We offer quantity discounts. Please call 831-479-7857 for the Santa Cruz Area & 510-429-1300 for the Bay Area. As a producer, not a reseller, of landscaping materials, we offer the best prices.

 

What are the materials made out of? – Recycled yard trimmings and clean, unpainted, untreated lumber

 

Is there pressure treated wood in any of the mulch or wood chip? – NO

 

Are there rebates for removing my lawn? – Yes, lawn conversion rebates are available through local governments, google, “Stopwaste.org water rebates” or “Zone 7 Water rebates for more information”

How can I see the products? – Go to our Recycled Products section.  Or drive to any of our six locations.  Not all products are available at each location, but we can often arrange to get you a certain product we produce if it is not available at the location near you.

 

Do you install the mulch? – No Vision Recycling is not a landscaping company – contact us if you would like a referral.

 

Do you accept C&D waste? No, we only accept sorted lumber that is unpainted, untreated and not laminated.  Please refer to our list of materials we can and cannot accept.
