Screening
A trommel is a screened cylinder used to separate materials by size — for example, separating different sizes of ground wood waste.
Portable trommel screens are often used in the production of organic products from various types of waste.
Our Mc Closkey trommel screen and our WildCat 626 screens are designed and custom built to our specifications. We wanted to design a screen that would excel in the screening of soils and organics such as compost or soil amendment, but it is also suited to screen sand and gravel, and woodchips. From 120 to 250 cubic yards per hour can be processed with this trommel screen.
