Mulch is a preventative measure, begin with pulling all weeds prior to applying mulch. Add a 4 inch layer to keep weed seeds from germinating. Mulch will not stop weeds completely. If applied deep enough, it will prevent many weed seeds already in the soil from germinating and growing.
Spread approximately 4 in. of mulch to slow weed growth and retain moisture.

Customers with truck or trailers can pick up materials at any of our six stores. Visit our Locations page for maps and directions. Just ask one of the Vision employees wearing a safety vest to load your truck for you. We will do it free of charge! Those who hand load mulch or compost need to provide their own tools such as a shovel and container. All vehicles must have their loads covered.
